Advancements in Food Safety
IAFP's Third European
Symposium on Food Safety
Presented
In collaboration with ILSI Europe
and the World Health Organization
18–19 October 2007
Sheraton Roma Hotel & Conference Center
Rome, Italy
In order to spread its activities more truly internationally, IAFP has been piloting symposia in Europe in recent years and plans to expand even further in the near future.
After successful symposia in Prague (2005) and Barcelona (2006), IAFP has decided to hold a yearly event in Europe. This year’s symposium will be held in Rome on 18-19 October and will give you expert insights into recent advancements in food safety, with a mix of speakers from industry, academia and government from both Europe and North America.
Committed to provide sound, quality programming for members and professional colleagues, IAFP has designed this symposium on important aspects of food safety, including assessment and enumeration of (microbial) hazards, food safety management and control and emerging hazards.
Attending this symposium, you will find that these areas have seen major advancements in our understanding and capabilities over recent years, some being interlinked across areas. Well-established experts from different parts of the world have committed to present their experiences and views at this symposium. They are evidence of IAFP’s well-respected status, which is partly based on its ability to offer a professional and open forum for discussions and networking.
Attend and become actively engaged with the symposium topics and of course with IAFP! Once you appreciate how IAFP works, you will see that it can be a way for you to foster regular interactions with peers from across Europe, North America and many other parts of the world.
IAFP will help you to learn and will encourage you to share your own experiences.
So come to Rome and join with colleagues and IAFP to explore recent
“Advancements in Food Safety” during IAFP’s Third European Symposium!
