Comprised of a diverse membership of over 3,000 Members from 50 nations, the Association is dedicated to the education and service of its Members, as well as industry personnel. Members

academia. This diversity indicates the Association has something
to offer everyone involved in food protection and public health.
That offering is information.
Through the Association, Members are able to keep informed of the latest scientific, technical, and practical developments in food safety and sanitation. The Association provides its Members with an information network through its two scientific journals, Food Protection Trends and Journal of Food Protection®, its educational Annual Meeting, and interaction with other food safety professionals.
Members join the Association to keep up-to-date on rapidly changing
technologies, innovations and regulations; to learn of the latest
findings in research; and to establish and maintain contacts outside
of their individual areas of expertise. The Association provides
this information network through its two monthly scientific journals,
its Annual Meeting, and other Member benefits, as well as interaction
with other food safety professionals.
